WRITING FAMILY In this evening workshop we use objects and mapping to create fresh writing on family. Bring an object that evokes family memories to use as a springboard for guided writing, listening, and small group sharing. It can be a photo, a teapot, a tie-pin—anything. All are welcome. Date : June 10 Time : 6-8:00 pm Location : OI Public Library Maximum 25 participants. Veronica Kornberg is the recipient of the Morton Marcus Poetry Prize, and the 2025 Wandering Aengus Book Award in Poetry, her work has appeared in numerous journals, including Alaska Quarterly Review , New Ohio Review, Poet Lore, Catamaran, Rattle, Indiana Review, Plume, Rhino Poetry, Calyx, and Beloit Poetry Journal. Veronica co-founded a long-running poetry book club and is a Peer Reviewer for Whale Road Review . At home in Pescadero, California, you can find her happily exploring the tidepools, or on her knees in the dirt in her large habitat garden of coastal scrub.
