Join Orcas Center for the Arts on Friday, June 26, from 5:30-7pm. for the opening celebration of The Art of Wood-Fired Ceramics: The Pieces & Potters That Survived the Heat. This special exhibition showcases the work of talented ceramic artists Sean Roberts, Michael Rozzi, Ayame Bullock, Yuriko Bullock, Mathew Haeuser, Sharon Ho, Sam Bullock, Penny Sharp, and Mary Jane Elgin. The exhibit highlights the beauty, craftsmanship, and unpredictability of the wood-firing process, where each piece emerges uniquely shaped by flame, ash, and heat. Bring friends and family to meet the artists, explore the exhibition, and celebrate the local arts community.
