Orcas Youth Chorus is Back

You don’t want to miss this fabulous opportunity to work with local musician, Stormy Hildreth, for a reboot of the  Orcas Youth Chorus! Middle and High School Students are welcome to attend this weekly class on Wednesdays beginning October 7 thru December 16 from 3:30-4:30pm in the Black Box to expand their  musical theory and knowledge, rehearse using healthy vocal techniques, practice  standing with poise and posture, and confidently sing rich harmonies with  friends. Performance opportunities will range from holiday carols flash mob style to collaborations with local community ensembles including a concert on December 5 and 6 at the Orcas Center. No experience necessary but come ready to focus and learn! No class on November 25. This program is supported in part by the Music Advocacy Group “Joyce Burghardt Fund” (MAG) and the San Juan County Cultural Access Tax (CAT).
