Join teaching artists Amy Plant and Alice Hibberd for a free, hands-on workshop inspired by the work of Alison Stigora, an artist who creates worlds simultaneously vast and intimate.
Adults and youth will view her installation "Constellation”, then work together outside the San Juan Islands Museum of Art to wrap, weave, and create an experimental collective installation from natural materials brought from their own homes and backyards.
RSVP is required, and space is limited to 10 adults and 10 youth. Adults may register on their own, or register with children ages 8-16. Youth ages 8 and older may attend without being accompanied by an adult.
