Author Talk: David Neiwert presents Strawberry Days

In Strawberry Days: The Rise and Fall of a Japanese-American Community David Neiwert reprises his history of the destruction of a Japanese farming community at the hands of wealthy white supremacists during another time in our nation's history when immigrants were vilified. David Neiwert is a Pacific Northwest journalist and the author of 10 books, including the International Latino Book Award-winning And Hell Followed With Her, as well as the perennially popular Of Orcas and Men: What Killer Whales Can Teach Us . Neiwert was a longtime investigative contributor for the Southern Poverty Law Center and is now living on San Juan Island.
